Writers in 'great' metropolitan newspapers tend to pontificate on how 'the kids' (that's you lot, mostly) aren't at all interested in guitar and drum bands anymore. All-age Meanies gigs are proof that not all 15 year olds are wearing Michael Jordan singlets and listening to Jam-Master Onan. The Meanies just play flat to the boards, continously, and the mosh never stops. 10% is the typical, goes fast, with something you can yell along to, and Link screams his lungs out with real passion. The Ramones have got away with it for 20 years, so why not?
